If you’ve been exposed to excessive sunlight in your life and have had skin problems watch out. According to a new study people who have been treated for a melanoma have more than twice the risk of developing another form of cancer. “There are several possible explanations for this link. Sun exposure is an important risk factor for all types of skin cancers so patients who have had one type of skin cancer may be more likely to develop other types as well.” So slap on that SPF and be sure to get your skin checked before it’s too late.
