Forget the Vitamin C

It’s cold outside. The wind is blowing. You step into the office and everyone is sick. Doesn’t this seem to be a reoccurring theme every year? What do you do to avoid getting sick? Like most Americans you’ve been told the usual – “eat right, rest and drink plenty of fluids.” However, if you’re one of those that trust in vitamin c tablets and zinc to help you heal think again. “Numerous studies over the last few years have shown that some of the so-called immune-boosting supplements, such as echinacea or high doses of vitamin c, really don't do much good.”
